Accessibility statement

Tcab Explorer continuously improves accessibility so everyone can complete core booking, identity verification, and payment tasks. This page describes our conformance criteria, scope, and known limitations.

Conformance

We reference and conform to multiple accessibility guidelines, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and Japan’s JIS X 8341-3.

Scope (common tasks)

We prioritize completing these common tasks with keyboard and screen readers.

  • Sign in and registration
  • Station, date/time, vehicle, insurance, and option selection (list UI is the primary path)
  • Driver details, terms confirmation, and payment
  • Identity verification (eKYC) guidance and submission
  • Booking list and detail views, including primary actions

Approach

  • Complete primary flows and dialog open/close with keyboard only
  • Provide clear names, roles, and states for buttons and form controls
  • Keep key information readable when text is enlarged
  • Maintain sufficient contrast between text/icons and backgrounds
  • Do not rely on color alone for critical status (pair with text or icons)
  • Reduce non-essential motion when Reduced Motion is enabled

Known limitations

These areas are still improving. Prefer the alternative path when available.

  • Map markers are secondary. Select stations from the station list (the booking screen includes this guidance).
  • Camera capture and third-party eKYC UI may depend on device and vendor controls. Use the written steps and driver’s license guide.
  • Accessibility of embedded Stripe widgets depends on the provider. We improve labels and errors on our surrounding card screens.
